dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara Self-Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 195 responden dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 195 sampel serta terdapat 30 sampel sebagai uji coba aitem. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Total Sampling. Skala yang digunakan dalam bentuk skala likert. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala Self-Efficacy dengan skala Prokrastinasi Akademik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Korelasi Product Moment dengan 𝑟xy = -0,584; p =0,000<0,01, artinya terdapat hubungan negatif antara Self-Efficacy dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik dengan asumsi bahwa semakin tinggi Self-Efficacy maka semakin rendah Prokrastinasi Akademik. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah Self-Efficacy maka semakin tinggi Prokrastinasi Akademik. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. This study aims to see there is a correlation between Self-Efficacy and Academic Procrastination in students at SMA Negeri 2 Medan. The research method used is quantitative with a population of 195 respondents and a research sample of 195 samples and there are 30 sampels as item trials. The sampling method uses Total Sampling. The scale used is in the form of a Likert scale. Data collection was carried out using two scales, namely the Self-Efficacy scale and the Academic Procrastination scale. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation with 𝑟xy = -0.584; p = 0.000 <0.01, meaning that there is a negative relationship between Self-Efficacy and Academic Procrastination with the assumption that the higher the Self-Efficacy, the lower the Academic Procrastination. Conversely, the lower the Self-Efficacy, the higher the Academic Procrastination. Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted.en_US
