| dc.description.abstract | Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) milik kelompok PKK, yang berlokasi di Desa Sentang, Kecamatan Teluk Mengkudu, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara, berfokus pada produksi keripik pisang, merupakan contoh nyata dari kontribusi UMKM terhadap perekonomian lokal, UMKM Keripik Pisang menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal produktivitas dan efisiensi proses produksi. Alat yang umumnya digunakan UMKM adalah alat pengaduk penggorengan semi otomatis yang bekerja dengan motor listrik dinamo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai OEE, mengetahui perbandingan nilai OEE Alat Pengaduk Penggorengan Keripik Pisang dengan nilai OEE Internasional. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yaitu pengukuran efetivitas mesin atau peralatan dengan menghitung ketersediaan mesin (availability), kinerja mesin (performance), dan tingkat kualitas produk mesin (quality rate). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dari Alat Pengaduk Penggorengan Keripik Pisang yaitu sebesar 89,43% jika dibandingkan dengan nilai OEE Internasional sebesar 85% hal ini berarti mesin atau peralatan mampu beroperasi dengan efektivitas tinggi, ditunjukkan oleh: Availability yang stabil, sehingga downtime tidak sidnifikan. Performance yang mendekati kapasitas ideal, sehingga tidak banyak kehilangan kecepatan produksi. Quality yang tinggi, ditandai dengan produk cacat yang sangat rendah. Dengan demikian, pencapaian OEE pada standar Internasional menunjukkan bahwa mesin atau alat tersebut beroperasi cukup optimal dengan efisiensi yang tinggi. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa proses produksi berjalan lancar. Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) belonging to the PKK group, located in Sentang Village, Teluk Mengkudu District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra, focusing on the production of banana chips, are a real example of the contribution of MSMEs to the local economy, Banana Chips MSMEs face various challenges, especially in terms of productivity and efficiency of the production process. The tools generally used by MSMEs are semi-automatic frying stirrers that work with dynamo electric motors. This study aims to determine the OEE value, to find out the comparison of the OEE value of the Banana Chips Frying Stirrer with the International OEE value. The method used is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, namely measuring the effectiveness of machines or equipment by calculating machine availability (availability), machine performance (performance), and the level of machine product quality (quality rate). The results of this study obtained the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of the Banana Chips Frying Mixer which is 89.43% when compared with the International OEE value of 85%. This means that the machine or equipment is able to operate with high effectiveness, indicated by: Stable availability, so that downtime is not significant. Performance that is close to ideal capacity, so that there is not much loss of production speed. High quality, characterized by very low defective products. Thus, the achievement of OEE at the International standard indicates that the machine or tool is operating optimally with high efficiency.
