Abstract

perusahaan sawit ternama di Sumatera Utara. Bisnis pabrik kelapa sawit mulai di Indonesia Khususnya di Sumatera Utara. Pada tahun 1972 PT Bakrie Grup sudah memulai bisnis Palm Oil Mills di Asahan Sumatera Utara. Pada penelitian ini digunakannya PLC (Programable logic Controller) yang merupakan alat otomatis yang bertujuan untuk meminimalisir waktu dan biaya. Seperti pada umumnya proses produksi selalu memiliki beban waktu dan biaya. Adapan metode yang digunakan yaitu OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung total waktu yang digunakan selama proses produksi dari awal bahan baku hingga akhir produk. Hal pertama yang akan dilakukan adalah menghitung nilai Availability, dilanjutkan menghitung nilai Performance efficiency, menghitung nilai quality dan tahap sselanjutanya menghitung nilai OEE. Pada hasil perhitungan pada saat mesin sterlizer menggunakan PLC nilai OEE yang di dapat pada bulan Desember 2023 yaitu 43,7 %, Januari 2024 yaitu 48,5% dan Januari 50,9% dimana nilai OEE sebelum menggunakan PLC lebih rendah yaitu September 2023 16,4 %, Oktober :23,5 %d an November 2023: 18,8 %. Hal ini menyatakan adanya kenaikan kinerja mesin dan performance setelah menggunakan PLC. Selain menurunkan waktu, biaya lembur dan biaya maintainace pada kondisi normal menurun dari Rp 133.023.00 (3 bulan sebeum menggunakan PLC) menjadi Rp 13.924.000 (3bulan setelah menggunakan PLC). PT. In 1972 PT Bakrie Group started the Palm Oil Mills business in Asahan, North Sumatra. In this study, PLC (Programable logic Controller) was used which is an automatic tool that aims to minimize time and cost. As in general, the production process always has a burden of time and cost. The method used, namely OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), is a method used to calculate the total time used during the production process from the beginning of raw materials to the end of the product. The first thing to be done is to calculate the Availability value, then calculate the Performance efficiency value, calculate the quality value and the next stage to calculate the OEE value. In the results of the calculation when the sterilizer machine uses PLC, the OEE value obtained in December 2023 is 43.7%, January 2024 is 48.5% and January 50.9% where the OEE value before using PLC is lower, September 2023 16.4%, October: 23.5% in November 2023: 18.8%. In addition to reducing time, overtime costs and maintenance costs under normal conditions decreased from IDR 133,023.00 (3 months before using PLC) to IDR 13,924,000 (3 months after using PLC).
