dc.description.abstractPenyandang disabilitas tuna daksa dengan kondisi ketimpangan panjang kaki akibat amputasi parsial sering mengalami gangguan kestabilan, ketidaknyamanan saat berjalan, serta risiko kelelahan otot yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sol sepatu korektif yang ergonomis dan fungsional dengan pendekatan metode Pahl and Beitz, serta didukung oleh analisis distribusi normal dari data antropometri pengguna. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis data empiris dari sepuluh responden penyandang tuna daksa. Data selisih panjang kaki dianalisis menggunakan rata-rata dan simpangan baku, yang kemudian digunakan untuk menentukan rentang toleransi desain sol berdasarkan distribusi normal Z = ±1,96. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata selisih panjang kaki sebesar 5,45 cm dengan simpangan baku 0,86 cm menghasilkan rentang toleransi desain sebesar 3,76–7,14 cm. Rentang ini digunakan sebagai dasar dalam penyusunan konsep desain sol korektif. Melalui tahapan metode Pahl and Beitz, desain akhir yang dipilih mempertimbangkan aspek kenyamanan, kestabilan, serta material yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan fisiologis pengguna. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan produk adaptif yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan disabilitas berdasarkan pendekatan statistik dan metodologi desain sistematik. Individuals with lower-limb disabilities, particularly those with partial limb amputations resulting in leg length discrepancies, often experience balance disturbances, walking discomfort, and increased risk of muscle fatigue. This study aims to design an ergonomic and functional corrective shoe sole using the Pahl and Beitz method, supported by normal distribution analysis based on users' anthropometric data. A qualitative approach was applied, using empirical data from ten respondents with lower-limb disabilities. The leg length discrepancy data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to determine the design tolerance range based on the standard normal distribution with Z = ±1.96. The analysis revealed an average discrepancy of 5.45 cm with a standard deviation of 0.86 cm, resulting in a design tolerance range of 3.76–7.14 cm. This range served as the foundation for developing a corrective sole concept. Through the Pahl and Beitz design stages, the final concept was selected by considering comfort, stability, and materials appropriate to the users' physiological needs. This research contributes to the development of adaptive products that are responsive to the needs of individuals with disabilities, integrating statistical analysis with systematic design methodology.en_US
