This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty among eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 11 Medan. The population in this study consists of 346 students, with a sample size of 78 eleventh-grade students from SMA Negeri 11 Medan obtained through purposive sampling. The research instruments used include two scales: self-efficacy and academic dishonesty. This study employs a quantitative approach, with data analysis techniques using Pearson's product-moment correlation to examine the relationship between the two variables. The results indicate a correlation coefficient of -0.764 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This suggests a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty. The coefficient of determination for the relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty is 0.583, indicating that self-efficacy contributes to academic dishonesty by 58.3%. In other words, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Based on the comparison between the Hypothetical Mean and the Empirical Mean, it was found that the Hypothetical Mean of self-efficacy (me = 32.5) is above the Empirical Mean (me = 27.28), leading to the conclusion that the subjects of this study have low self-efficacy. Furthermore, the Hypothetical Mean of academic dishonesty (me = 45) is below the Empirical Mean (me = 52.95), indicating that the subjects of this study exhibit high levels of academic dishonesty.
