This study aims to examine the correlation between non-physical work environment and employee engagement among employees at PT. SPC (Sinar Perdana Caraka) Wilmar Group Riau. This research employed a quantitative approach using quota sampling technique, involving 40 employees from a total population of 119. Data were collected using a non-physical work environment scale based on Permatasari (2011) and an employee engagement scale developed by Schaufeli & Bakker (2004). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed a significant positive correlation between non-physical work environment and employee engagement, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.675 and a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. The non-physical work environment contributed 45.6% to employee engagement, while the remaining 54.4% was influenced by other factors such as leadership, organizational culture, and career development opportunities. Both the non-physical work environment and employee engagement at PT. SPC Wilmar Group Riau were classified as high, with empirical mean scores of 68.30 and 77.58, respectively—both exceeding their hypothetical mean values. | en_US |
