| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sistem antrian yang digunakan di Bengkel Agung Jaya Motor dan merumuskan usulan perbaikan untuk menekan waktu tunggu pelanggan. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah seringnya penumpukan antrian, yang mengindikasikan ketidakseimbangan antara kapasitas pelayanan dan tingkat kedatangan pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Model Multi- Channel Single-Phase (M/M/s) atau Jalur Ganda, di mana bengkel memiliki 3 server (montir). Data yang digunakan adalah data rekayasa/asumsi dengan tingkat kedatangan (λ ) 5.4 pelanggan/jam dan tingkat pelayanan per montir (μ) 2 pelanggan/jam. Analisis dilakukan melalui perhitungan manual (teoritis) dan simulasi.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem antrian saat ini berada dalam kondisi tidak efisien. Kinerja sistem yang ditemukan adalah: Tingkat Utilisasi (ρ) mencapai 90%, yang menunjukkan bengkel bekerja nyaris penuh. Dampaknya, waktu tunggu rata-rata dalam antrian (Wq) mencapai 33 menit. Waktu tunggu lebih dari setengah jam ini dianggap terlalu lama dan merugikan kepuasan pelanggan. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, usulan perbaikan yang direkomendasikan adalah penambahan 1 (satu) server (montir). Dengan penambahan ini, utilisasi sistem akan turun menjadi 67,5%, dan secara signifikan akan menekan Waktu Tunggu Rata-rata (Wq) menjadi kurang dari 5 menit, sehingga kinerja pelayanan dapat dikatakan optimal. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the queuing system used at the Agung Jaya Motor Workshop and formulate improvement proposals to reduce customer waiting time. The main problem identified is the frequent queue buildup, which indicates an imbalance between service capacity and customer arrival rate. The research method used is quantitative analysis with the Multi-Channel Single- Phase (M/M/s) or Dual-Path Model approach, where the workshop has 3 servers (mechanics). The data used is engineering/assumption data with an arrival rate of 5.4 customers/hour and a service level per mechanic of 2 customers/hour. The analysis was carried out through manual (theoretical) calculations and simulations. The results of the analysis indicate that the current implementation of the queuing system is in an inefficient condition. The system performance found is: Utilization rate reached 90%, which indicates the workshop is working almost full. As a result, the average waiting time in the queue (Wq) reached 33 minutes. This waiting time of more than half an hour is considered too long and detrimental to customer satisfaction. To improve efficiency, the recommended improvement proposal is the addition of 1 (one) server (mechanic). With this addition, system utilization will decrease to 67.5% and significantly reduce the Average Waiting Time (Wq) to less than 5 minutes, thus achieving optimal service performance. | en_US |
