Keseluruhan proses adaptasi mengacu pada prosedur International Test Commission (ITC) Guidelines for Test Adaptation 2016. This study aims to adapt the Work Occupational Stress Scale instrument compiled by Jennifer et al. (2022) into the Indonesian language and culture. This study was conducted in two studies. In study 1, the translation process and construct equivalence testing were carried out involving 2 translators, 3 expert reviewers and 20 lay people. Meanwhile, study 2 involved 243 volunteer subjects in Indonesia and conducted a trial of the Work Stress instrument with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The entire adaptation process refers to the International Test Commission (ITC) Guidelines for Test Adaptation 2016 procedure. The CFA results show that the measurement model of the Work Stress Scale instrument fits the model of 2 types of work stress, namely Eustress and Distress. Overall, this study shows that the Indonesian version of the Work Stress Scale instrument is valid and reliable so that it can be used to measure work stress in Indonesia.en_US
