| dc.description.abstract | Pertanian di Indonesia sebagian besar masih menggunakan cara manual dalam mengolah lahan perkebunan yang dimiliki. Hal ini mengharuskan petani mengorbankan waktu dan tenaga serta air yang ekstra. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk membuat alat sistem irigasi tetes yang dapat bekerja secara otomatis untuk meringankan pekerjaan petani khususnya saat menyiram tanaman. Prinsip kerja alat sistem irigasi tetes otomatis adalah ketika tanah kering dan suhu panas air dialiri menggunakan pipa dan selang khusus hingga ke akar tanaman. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengujian alat dapat menghemat pemakaian air hingga 57% air untuk menyiram 3 pot tanaman setiap harinya. Selain itu pemakaian daya yang cukup efisien berkisar 30 watt dalam sehari setara 27,71% dari kapasitas baterai yang digunakan. Agriculture in Indonesia still largely relies on manual methods for cultivating their plantations. This requires farmers to sacrifice time, energy, and extra water. This research aims to create an automated drip irrigation system to ease farmers' workload, particularly when watering plants. The principle of the automatic drip irrigation system is that when the soil is dry and hot, water flows through special pipes and hoses to the plant roots. Based on data obtained from testing, the device can save up to 57% on water consumption for watering three pots of plants per day. Furthermore, its power consumption is quite efficient, around 30 watts per day, equivalent to 27.71% of the battery capacity used. | en_US |
