Mental health is a crucial issue that is often overlooked in Indonesia, despite its high and increasing prevalence, especially among Gen Z. The 60% spike in suicide cases in the last four years indicates an urgent need to be addressed immediately. In North Sumatra, this condition is exacerbated by high levels of poverty and family conflict, as well as limited mental health facilities that only rely on a medical approach without touching on psychological and spiritual aspects. This study proposes a Biophilic Architecture approach in the design of mental health facilities in Medan City. By integrating natural elements such as sunlight, vegetation, and fresh air, this approach aims to create a calming healing environment, accelerate recovery, and encourage public education and awareness. By presenting a more holistic and inclusive space, this design is expected to be able to support the psychological and social well-being of the community in a sustainable manner.en_US
