| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pakaian bekas (thrifting) di kalangan mahasiswa angkatan 2023 Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis faktor, menggunakan skala keputusan pembelian berdasarkan teori Kotler dan Keller yang meliputi faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, psikologis, dan situasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor budaya memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dengan 45,7% responden dalam kategori sedang. Faktor sosial memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung (34,3%) dalam kategori sedang hingga cukup tinggi. Faktor pribadi berkontribusi dengan skor 11 yang dipilih oleh 10 responden (28,6%). Faktor psikologis berperan penting dengan penilaian tinggi sebesar 40%, sedangkan faktor situasional berpengaruh dengan skor 13 yang dipilih oleh 11 responden (31,4%). Secara keseluruhan, kelima faktor tersebut berkontribusi terhadap keputusan pembelian pakaian bekas, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. This study aims to examine the factors influencing purchase decisions of secondhand clothing (thrifting) among 2023 cohort students of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Medan Area. The research employed a quantitative method using a factor analysis approach. Data were collected through a purchase decision scale constructed based on Kotler and Keller’s theoretical framework, encompassing five dimensions: cultural, social, personal, psychological, and situational factors. Descriptive analysis revealed that the cultural factor had a significant influence, with 45.7% of respondents categorized as moderate. The social factor showed an indirect influence (34.3%) at a moderate to fairly high level. The personal factor demonstrated contribution through a score of 11 selected by 10 respondents (28.6%). The psychological factor played a crucial role, with 40% giving high evaluations, while the situational factor showed influence through a score of 13 chosen by 11 respondents (31.4%). Collectively, these factors contribute to students’ secondhand clothing purchase decisions. | en_US |
