| dc.description.abstract | Analisis fraktur material mortar berbentuk cakram dengan takik U akibat beban dinamis memiliki relevansi yang cukup penting dalam bidang teknik mesin, terutama dalam memahami ketahanan material terhadap beban siklik yang sering terjadi pada komponen mekanis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat spesimen material mortar berbentuk cakram untuk dilakukan uji impak batang dan menganalisis mekanisme propagasi retak dan karakteristik kegagalan yang dapat mempengaruhi performa material dalam aplikasi teknik, seperti bantalan, rotor, dan struktur berulang yang mengalami tegangan fluktuatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental, semua tindakan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis fraktur yang terjadi pada material mortar berbentuk cakram pada takik U dengan 3 variasi panjang takik yaitu 15 mm, 17,5 mm dan 20 mm akibat beban dinamis. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa material mortar memiliki sifat rapuh (brittle), peningkatan laju beban meningkatkan energi fraktur karena material tidak memiliki waktu untuk meredam tegangan secara perlahan. dan efek konsentrasi tegangan takik U menjadi titik lemah yang signifikan, menyebabkan fraktur dimulai dari lokasi tersebut. Fracture analysis of disc-shaped mortar material with U-notch due to dynamic load has quite important relevance in the field of mechanical engineering, especially in understanding the resistance of materials to cyclic loads that often occur in mechanical components. The purpose of this study was to create discshaped mortar material specimens for rod impact testing and to analyze the crack propagation mechanism and failure characteristics that can affect material performance in engineering applications, such as bearings, rotors, and repetitive structures that experience fluctuating stress. The method used is an experimental method, all actions taken are aimed at analyzing the fracture that occurs in disc-shaped mortar material at the U-notch with 3 variations of notch length, namely 15 mm, 17.5 mm and 20 mm due to dynamic load. The results of this test indicate that the mortar material has brittle properties, increasing the load rate increases the fracture energy because the material does not have time to dampen the stress slowly. and the effect of the Unotch stress concentration becomes a significant weak point, causing the fracture to start from that location. | en_US |
