| Abstract: | Energi angin merupakan salah satu energi yang berpotensi besar menjadi sumber utama energi terbarukan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi energi yang dibangkitkan adalah jumlah bilah angin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sigara-gara, Kecamatan Patumbak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatra Utara, yang memiliki kecepatan angin rendah. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada proses penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik, yaitu metode kualitatif. Dimana metode penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengobservasi dan analisis turbin angin sumbu vertikal (vertical axis wind turbine).Alat-alat seperti anemometer dan thakometer digunakan untuk mengukur kecepatan angin dan putaran turbin. Bahan-bahan seperti generator dan blower juga digunakan dalam pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jumlah blade mempengaruhi putaran suatu turbin dan daya yang akan dihasilkannya walaupun kecepatan angin yang mengalir ke turbin sama besar. Hal ini terkait dengan massa blade yang mempengaruhi TASV Wind energy is one of the energies that has great potential to become the main source of renewable energy. One of the factors that affects the efficiency of the energy generated is the number of wind blades. This research was conducted in Sigara-gara Village, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, which has low wind speed. The research method used in this research process to obtain better results is the qualitative method. Where this research method aims to analyze and observe and analyze vertical axis wind turbines. Tools such as anemometers and thakometers are used to measure wind speed and turbine rotation. Materials such as generators and blowers are also used in testing. The results of the study showed that the number of blades affects the rotation of a turbine and the power it will produce even though the wind speed flowing into the turbine is the same.
