dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi laporan penjualan berbasis web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan UMKM Berkah Ponsel sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pencatatan penjualan yang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan dan keterlambatan penyajian informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall yang difokuskan pada tahap analisis kebutuhan dan perancangan sistem. Tahap analisis kebutuhan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, kebutuhan fungsional, serta kebutuhan data yang diperlukan dalam sistem. Selanjutnya, tahap perancangan menghasilkan model sistem yang meliputi diagram konteks, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), perancangan basis data, serta desain antarmuka sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan sistem yang dihasilkan mampu menggambarkan proses pengelolaan data barang, pencatatan transaksi penjualan, pengelolaan data karyawan, serta penyajian laporan penjualan harian secara terstruktur. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode waterfall pada tahap analisis kebutuhan dan perancangan dapat menghasilkan desain sistem informasi laporan penjualan berbasis web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional UMKM Berkah Ponsel. This study aims to design a web-based sales report information system that meets the needs of UMKM Berkah Ponsel as a solution to problems caused by manual sales recording, which potentially leads to recording errors and delays in information presentation. The research employed the waterfall method, focusing on the requirements analysis and system design stages. The requirements analysis stage was conducted to identify user requirements, functional requirements, and data requirements needed by the system. Furthermore, the design stage produced system models consisting of a context diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), database design, and user interface design. The results indicate that the proposed system design is capable of representing processes related to product data management, sales transaction recording, employee data management, and daily sales report generation in a structured manner. Therefore, this study concludes that the waterfall method, particularly in the requirements analysis and design stages, can effectively produce a web-based sales report information system design that aligns with the operational needs of UMKM Berkah Ponsel.en_US
