This research aims to redesign the cassava chip packaging for the "Keripik Bunda" MSME, which currently utilizes conventional plastic packaging with unappealing visuals and a weak brand identity. By implementing the Kansei Engineering method, this study seeks to transform consumers' emotional perceptions into technical and applicable design elements. Data were collected through questionnaires to identify Kansei words representing consumer expectations, which were then analyzed using utility values to determine the optimal design specifications. The results identified five priority Kansei words: luxurious, unique, practical, hygienic, and informatife. The recommended final design specification is a plastic standing pouch featuring a clip/zipper, temperature resistance, and tear-resistant material. In terms of aesthetics, the design employs a color combination of yellow, black, and white with white brand typography, along with comprehensive product information ranging from the halal logo to nutritional facts. The implementation of this design is expected to enhance the aesthetic value, product protection, and market competitiveness of the Keripik Bunda MSME sustainably. |
