This research aims to identify factors influencing digital financial behavior among college students using Shopee PayLater. The research problem focuses on students’ limited ability to manage digital financial services, which may lead to consumptive behavior. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach involving 152 students from the Faculty of Law, Labuhan Batu University, who actively use Shopee PayLater. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale instrument measuring four aspects of digital financial behavior: knowledge, ability, self-control, and environmental factors. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis with SPSS software. The results revealed that environmental factors were the most dominant influence on students’ digital financial behavior (92.5%), followed by self-control (92.4%), ability (91%), and knowledge (50.9%). These findings indicate that digital financial behavior among students is shaped not only by cognitive factors but also by psychological and social influences. Therefore, it can be concluded that students’ digital financial behavior in using Shopee PayLater is determined by a combination of internal and external factors.
