| dc.description.abstract | Indonesia merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat aktivitas seismik yang tinggi, sehingga evaluasi kinerja struktur bangunan menjadi aspek yang krusial dalam menjamin keamanan dan keandalan konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penambahan shear wall terhadap kinerja seismik struktur gedung ruko bertingkat Citraland Sampali R5/61–79 melalui analisis statik nonlinear (Pushover). Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak ETABS dengan perhitungan beban mati dan beban hidup yang mengacu pada SNI 1726:2019, SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1727:2020, serta PUSGEN, dengan mengacu pada level kinerja berdasarkan FEMA 356. Pemodelan dilakukan pada dua kondisi, yaitu struktur eksisting tanpa shear wall dan struktur dengan penambahan shear wall, yang kemudian dibandingkan berdasarkan kapasitas, simpangan atap, story drift, serta tingkat kinerja struktur.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penambahan shear wall meningkatkan kapasitas geser sebesar 38% serta mengurangi perpindahan lateral sebesar 44%. Selain itu, terjadi penurunan simpangan atap sebesar 23% dan penurunan story drift sebesar 20%. Penerapan shear wall juga mengakibatkan perubahan tingkat kinerja struktur dari level Life Safety (LS) menjadi Immediate Occupancy (IO). Meskipun demikian, model dengan shear wall menunjukkan respons struktur yang lebih kaku, stabil, dan aman. Dengan demikian, penambahan shear wall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kekuatan lateral, mengurangi deformasi, serta memperbaiki ketahanan seismik bangunan ruko bertingkat sebagai salah satu strategi retrofit struktur di wilayah rawan gempa. Indonesia is located in a region with a high level of seismic activity; therefore, evaluating the performance of building structures is a crucial aspect in ensuring construction safety and reliability. This study aims to evaluate the effect of adding shear walls on the seismic performance of a multi-story shop-house building at Citraland Sampali R5/61–79 through nonlinear static (Pushover) analysis. The analysis was conducted using ETABS software, with dead and live load calculations referring to SNI 1726:2019, SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1727:2020, as well as PUSGEN, and performance levels based on FEMA 356. The modeling was carried out under two conditions, namely the existing structure without shear walls and the structure with additional shear walls, which were then compared in terms of capacity, roof displacement, story drift, and structural performance level.The results indicate that the addition of shear walls increases the base shear capacity by 38% and reduces lateral displacement by 44%. In addition, roof displacement decreases by 23%, and story drift decreases by 20%. The implementation of shear walls also results in a change in the structural performance level from Life Safety (LS) to Immediate Occupancy (IO). Furthermore, the model with shear walls demonstrates a stiffer, more stable, and safer structural response. Therefore, the addition of shear walls is proven to be effective in enhancing lateral strength, reducing deformation, and improving the seismic resistance of multi-story shop-house buildings as a retrofit strategy in earthquake-prone areas. | en_US |
