dc.description.abstractDalam dunia konstruksi, bidang struktur memegang peranan penting dalam menjamin keamanan, kekuatan, dan keawetan suatu bangunan. Setiap bangunan, baik itu gedung bertingkat, jembatan, maupun infrastruktur lainnya, memerlukan perencanaan struktur yang matang agar mampu menahan beban-beban yang bekerja padanya, baik beban mati, beban hidup, beban angin, maupun beban gempa. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman yang mendalam tentang analisis dan desain struktur sangatlah penting bagi seorang insinyur sipil. Dalam dunia konstruksi bangunan publik, seperti rumah sakit, aspek aksesibilitas menjadi salah satu perhatian utama dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan proyek. Rumah sakit sebagai fasilitas layanan kesehatan harus dirancang untuk dapat diakses oleh semua kalangan, termasuk penyandang disabilitas, lansia, pasien dengan keterbatasan mobilitas, serta pengguna kursi roda. Masyarakat difabel memerlukan suatu komunitas atau lingkungan yang mampu mewadahi aktivitas/kegiatan serta sarana aksesibilitas yang memadai sehingga memberi kenyamanan, keamanan, dan memperlancar mobilitas kaum difabel. In the construction industry, structural engineering plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, strength, and durability of a building. Every structure—whether a high-rise building, a bridge, or other infrastructure—requires meticulous structural planning to withstand the various loads acting upon it, including dead loads, live loads, wind loads, and seismic forces. Consequently, a profound understanding of structural analysis and design is essential for civil engineers. In the realm of public building construction—such as hospitals—accessibility is a primary consideration during project planning and execution. As healthcare facilities, hospitals must be designed to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, the elderly, patients with limited mobility, and wheelchair users. Individuals with disabilities require environments that accommodate their activities and provide adequate accessibility features, thereby ensuring comfort and safety while facilitating their mobility.en_US
