Abstract

Kerja praktek adalah suatu kegiatan yang memperkenalkan dunia kerja kepada si praktikan (mahasiswa) di dunia usaha atau dunia kerja dimana sesuai dengan keahlian mahasiswa. Hal ini dilakukan berguna untuk menambah pengetahuan mahasiswa, mengaplikasikan teori dengan dunia industri, serta menambah bekal mahasiswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja kedepannya. Hubungan antara industri dengan tempat mahasiswa mempelajari teori (kampus) terjalin baiksampai akhirnya terjalin kerja sama karena adanya hubungan timbal balik. Dalam pelaksanaan kerja praktek, mahasiswa berperan ikut dalam bekerja sekaligus menggali ilmu pada saat bekerja. Mahasiswa juga menganalisa, meneliti, dan membahas masalah itu kedalam karya akhir sehingga mendapatkan improvisasi untuk perusahaan atau juga pengalaman tambahan kedepannya, menerapkan dari teori ke praktek juga merupakan salah satu latar belakangnya kerja praktek. An internship (or practical work placement) is an activity designed to introduce students to the professional environment—specifically within the business or industrial sectors—in a field aligned with their area of ​​expertise. This program serves to broaden students' knowledge, allow them to apply theoretical concepts to real-world industry practices, and better prepare them for their future careers. It fosters a strong relationship between the industry and the academic institution (campus), ultimately leading to collaborative partnerships based on mutual benefit. During the internship, students actively participate in the work while simultaneously gaining practical knowledge. They analyze, research, and address specific issues, incorporating their findings into a final report; this process yields potential improvements for the company and provides students with valuable experience. Furthermore, the practical application of theory is a fundamental objective of the internship program.
