dc.description.abstractSistem emergency power merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem kelistrikan bangunan bertingkat yang berfungsi untuk menjamin kontinuitas pasokan listrik saat terjadi gangguan atau pemadaman dari sumber utama. Manhattan Condominium sebagai bangunan hunian bertingkat tinggi membutuhkan sistem emergency power yang andal guna menunjang keselamatan penghuni serta menjaga operasional peralatan vital seperti lift, pompa air, sistem penerangan darurat, dan sistem keamanan. Kerja praktek ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem emergency power yang diterapkan di Manhattan Condominium, meliputi konfigurasi sistem, kapasitas peralatan, serta mekanisme kerja saat terjadi kegagalan suplai listrik utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kerja praktek ini meliputi observasi lapangan, pengumpulan data teknis, wawancara dengan teknisi terkait, serta studi literatur. Analisis dilakukan terhadap komponen utama sistem emergency power, seperti Genertaor Set (genset), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Uninterrubtible Power Supply (UPS), Lampu Darurat, Fire Pump dan Fire Alarm, panel distribusi darurat, dan sistem pendukung lainnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem emergency power di Manhattan Condominium telah dirancang untuk mendukung beban-beban kritis dengan waktu pemulihan yang relatif cepat saat terjadi pemadaman listrik. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan keandalan sistem, seperti pemeliharaan berkala dan evaluasi pembebanan. Diharapkan hasil kerja praktek ini dapat menjadi referensi dalam meningkatkan keandalan dan efisiensi sistem emergency power pada bangunan bertingkat. The emergency power system is an essential part of the electrical system in high-rise buildings, serving to ensure the continuity of electrical power supply during disturbances or outages from the main power source. Manhattan Condominium, as a high-rise residential building, requires a reliable emergency power system to support occupant safety and maintain the operation of vital equipment such as elevators, water pumps, emergency lighting, and security systems. This internship aims to analyze the emergency power system implemented at Manhattan Condominium, including system configuration, equipment capacity, and operating mechanisms during main power supply failures. The methods used in this internship include field observation, technical data collection, interviews with related technicians, and relevant literature studies. The analysis focuses on the main components of the emergency power system, including the generator set (genset), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), emergency lighting, fire pumps and fire alarm systems, emergency distribution panels, and other supporting systems. The results of the analysis indicate that the emergency power system at Manhattan Condominium has been designed to support critical loads with a relatively fast recovery time during power outages. However, several aspects still need attention to improve system reliability, such as regular maintenance and load evaluation to ensure compatibility with equipment capacity. It is expected that the results of this internship can serve as a reference for improving the reliability and efficiency of emergency power systems in high-rise buildings.en_US
