Laporan Kerja Praktik PT. Adei Plantation dan Industry Mandau Palm Oil Mill

Abstract

PT. Adei Plantation & Industry MPOM merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kelapa sawit yang memiliki peranan penting dalam mengolah Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) atau Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) menjadi produk turunan kelapa sawit yaitu minyak mentah atau Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan Plam Kernel (PK). Dalam menjalankan kegiatan produksinya, perusahaan ini menerapkan berbagai sistem kerja dan prosedur operasional yang perlu dipahami secara langsung oleh mahasiswa agar mampu mengaitkan teori yang diperoleh di bangku perkuliahan dengan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan Kerja Praktek di PT. Adei Plantation & Industry MPOM menjadi sarana yang tepat bagi mahasiswa untuk memperoleh pengalaman kerja, memahami proses produksi, serta mengidentifikasi permasalahan dan peluang perbaikan sistem kerja sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi dunia industri. PT. Adei Plantation & Industry MPOM is a company engaged in palm oil processing that plays a vital role in converting Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) into palm oil derivatives, specifically Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernels (PK). In its production operations, the company employs various work systems and operational procedures; it is essential for students to gain firsthand understanding of these to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world conditions. Consequently, undertaking a practical internship at PT.
