dc.description.abstract | Solar cells using 2N3055 transistor component is the basic ingredient for making alternative power generation. Germanium material available on this transistor is used to generate electric energy. In this research, experiments also measurements using a multimeter. For each of the transistors 2N3055 generated output voltage from 0.4 to 0.6 volts and can be implemented to loads such as LED, flashlight or a motor tamiya and to charge a hand phone. The final results of the study and analysis of these experiments showed that these transistors can be used as an alternative source of electrical energy that are environmentally friendly, in addition to the process of increasing the output voltage is easy and economical because simply add components such transistors on a circuit without having to replace the entire system. | en_US |
