Title: Pengaruh Biochar dan Pupuk Kandang Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.)

Abstract: This study uses a randomized block design factorial consisting of 2 replications, 16 combinations so that there are 32 plots, plants from all over the combination and repetition. The first factor to be tested is biochar kendaga rubber seed shells are: B0 = without biochar, biochar B1 = 0.5 g / plot, B2 = biochar 1.0 g / plot, biochar B3 = 1.5 g / plot. The second factor is chicken manure, namely: A0 = no chicken manure, chicken manure A1 = 1.5 g / plot, chicken manure A2 = 1.0 g / plot, A3 = 0.5 g chicken manure / plot. The results showed that chicken manure can increase growth (plant height, stem diameter) and production (number of tuber per plot, weight of tuber per sample, weight of tuber per plot) potatoes.
Description: Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 ulangan, 16 kombinasi sehingga terdapat 32 plot, tanaman dari seluruh kombinasi dan ulangan. Faktor pertama yang diuji adalah biochar kendaga cangkang biji karet yaitu: B0 = tanpa biochar, B1 = biochar 0,5 g/plot, B2 = biochar 1,0 g/plot, B3 = biochar 1,5 g/plot. Faktor yang kedua adalah pupuk kandang ayam, yaitu: A0 = tanpa pupuk kandang ayam,A1 = pupuk kandang ayam 1,5 g/plot, A2 = pupuk kandang ayam 1,0 g/plot, A3 = pupuk kandang ayam 0,5 g/plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, diameter batang) dan produksi (jumlah umbi per plot, berat umbi per sampel, berat umbi per plot) kentang.
