dc.descriptionLapisan permukaan konstruksi perkerasan jalan adalah lapisan yang paling besar menerima beban. Oleh sebab itu material penyusun lapisan ini haruslah material yang berkualitas baik. Kadar agregat dalam perkerasan lentur umumnya berkisar antara 90-95% dari berat total. Pemakaian agregat yang tidak sesuai dengan per-syaratan inilah yang paling sering menjadi penyebab kerusakan pada perkerasan jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai stabilitas campuran aspal berongga dengan aspal normal, dengan kadar aspal 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5%, 7%. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa nilai stabilitas yang disyaratkan minimal 800 kg. Karena hal ini mempengaruhi kemampuan lapisan perkerasan untuk menahan deformasi akibat beban lalu lintas yang bekerja diatasnya tanpa mengalami perubahan bentuk tetap seperti gelombang (washboarding) dan alur (rutting). Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh yang terjadi terhadap karakteristik aspal AC-WC melalui Marshall Test. Karakteristik yang diukur dengan menggunakan alat Marshall Test adalah stabilitas (stability), kelelehan (flow), kerapatan (density), marshall quotient (MQ), void filleds (VFB), void in the mix (VIM), serta void in the mineral agregate (VMA)en_US
dc.description.abstractThe surface layer is a layer of pavement construction receive the greatest load. Therefore, the material making up this layer must be of good quality material. Levels of aggregates in flexible pavement generally range between 90-95% of the total weight. The use of aggregates that do not comply with the requirements is the most frequent cause of damage to the pavement. This study was conducted to determine the value of the stability of the asphalt mixture normal, and hollow compared to asphalt binder content of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, 7%. The test results showed that the stability required at least 800 kg. Because it affects the ability of pavement layers to withstand deformation due to traffic loads are working on it without changing its form remains as wave (washboarding) and groove (rutting). The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence what happens to the characteristics of the asphalt AC-WC through the Marshall Test.
