Hubungan Antara Kontrol Diri Dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas FKIP Bahasa Inggris Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The aim of this research concern about the correlation between self control and academic procrastination on the collage students of faculty FKIP of English At University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatera. In this case, as the subjects of this research are the collage students of University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatera on the level 2012. The collage students that fulfill the sample of the criteria are 74 collage students. The hypothesis that submitted in this research is that a negative correlation between self control with academic procrastination on the collage students of Faculty FKIP of English at University of Muhammadiyah Noth Sumatera. Based on the data analysis by using the Product Moment Metode Analysis as the result, there is the negative relationship that significant between self control with academic procrastination on the collage students of Faculty FKIP of English at University of Muhammadiyah Noth Sumatera. From this research, it can be conclude, rxy= -.722 and p= .00. and r2= .521 or 52,1% in the form of cademic procrastination.
