dc.descriptionPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari ekstrak bunga kembang bulan (T. diversifolia) sebagai insektisida nabati dalam pengendalian hama ulat grayak (S. litura) pada tanaman sawi di laboratorium. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pengujian Mutu dan Residu Pestisida, Medan-Sumut dan Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area dari bulan April - Juni 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Non-Faktorial yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, ekstrak bunga T. diversifolia dengan taraf, K0 = tanpa ekstrak (kontrol), K1 = konsentrasi 4% atau 4 gr/100 ml pelarut, K2 = konsentrasi 6% atau 6 gr/100 ml pelarut, K3 = konsentrasi 8% atau 8 gr/100 ml pelarut, K4 = konsentrasi 10% atau 10 gr/100 ml pelarut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bunga kembang bulan (T. diversifolia) dapat mengendalikan hama ulat grayak (S. litura). Pemberian ekstrak bunga T. diversifolia dengan konsentrasi 8% (K3) efektif mengendalikan S. litura. Persentase mortalitas larva S. litura tertinggi (80%) terdapat pada perlakuan K3 (konsentrasi 8% atau 8 ml ekstrak/92 ml pelarut) pada akhir hari pengamatan (9 HSA) dan kematian terendah terdapat pada perlakuan K1 (konsentrasi 4% atau 4 gr/100 ml pelarut ) dengan rata-rata persentase mortalitas 67.5%.en_US
dc.description.abstractTests have been carried out in the Laboratory of Quality and Pesticide Residues, Medan North Sumatra and Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, University Medan Area from April to June 2015. The purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of the flower extract moon (T. diversifolia) as a vegetable insecticides for pest control caterpillar armyworm (S. litura) on mustard plants in the laboratory. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design Non-factorial consisting of 5 treatments, flower extract of T. diversifolia with level, K0 = without extract (control), K1 = concentration of 4% or 4 g / 100 ml of solvent, K2 = concentration 6 % or 6 g / 100 ml of solvent, K3 = concentration of 8% or 8 g / 100 ml of solvent, K4 = concentration of 10% or 10 g / 100 ml of solvent. The results showed that the flower extract moon (T. diversifolia) can control the pest armyworm (S. litura). T. diversifolia flower extract with a concentration of 8% (K3) have effective control of S. litura. The percentage of S. litura larvae mortality is highest in K3 treatment (concentration of 8% or 8 ml extract / 92 ml solvent) on each day of observation (9 HSA) and the percentage mortality of larvae of S. litura lowest for the treatment K1 (67,5%).en_US
