dc.descriptionA variety of Crude Palm Oil demands in every months pushes that company to organize the forecasting on upcoming product demand. Based on the data, PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Turangie Palm Oil Mill always receive consumers orders without considering the availability of capacity. The study aims to count the availability of capacity towards the capacity needs based on Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) Method. It is an analysis process and capacity evaluation from the available production facility on the factory floor to be well-suited and able to promote the Master Production Schedules (MPC) to be drafted. Then, based on RCCP report, the availability of capacity in reception station faced the lack of capacity in every periods start from October 2017 – September 2018. Similarly, the lack of capacity also occures in sterilizer station. Then again, both in thressing and pressing stations found that the availability of capacity have been met the planned capacity needs. Thus, an alternative decision is proposed to overcome the lack of sterilizer capacity through additional working hours (working shift).en_US
dc.description.abstractPermintaan terhadap Crude Palm Oil bervariasi setiap bulannya sehingga perusahaan melakukan peramalan (forecasting) permintaan produk yang akan datang. Berdasarkan data PT. PP Londonsumatra Indonesia Tbk Turangie Palm Oill Mill selalu menerima pesanan konsumen tanpa mempertimbangkan kapasitas tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung kapasitas teresedia terhadap kebutuhan kapasitas berdasarkan metode Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). RCCP adalah suatu proses analisis dan evaluasi kapasitas dari fasilitas produksi yang tersedia di lantai pabrik agar sesuai atau dapat mendukung jadwal induk produksi (JIP) yang akan disusun. Berdasarkan laporan RCCP kapasitas tersedia stasiun reception terjadi kekurangan kapasitas pada setiap periode mulai dari Oktober 2017 – September 2018. Pada stasiun sterilizer terdapat kekurangan kapasitas tersedia pada setiap periode mulai dari Oktober 2017 – September 2018. Pada stasiun thressing dan pressing diketahui bahwa kapasitas tersedia sudah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kapasitas yang direncanakan. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan kapasitas sterilizer pada periode Oktober 2017 – September 2018 diusulkan alternatif keputusan berupa penambahan jam kerja ( shift kerja).en_US
