Abstract

Construction and building sectors in Indonesia are experiencing a surge in The construction and building sectors in Indonesia are experiencing a rising surge in value. One reason for this is the high demand for housing and the high growth of the property sector in several major cities across the country. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence from the analysis of the effect of investment opportunities, profitability, and liquidity on dividend policy on construction and building companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2011- 2015. The sample of this research is done by purposive sampling method that is the non-random sample selection whose information is obtained by using certain consideration which is generally adjusted to the purpose or problem of research. The number of samples with selected criteria were 6 companies (5 years x 6 = 30 observations). The result of this research is partial prove that investment opportunity
