Evaluasi Sistem Manajamen K3 Berdasarkan Peraturan PP RI Nomor 50 Tahun 2012 di PT. PLN Persero Medan

Abstract

K3 is all activities to ensure and protect the safety and health of the workforce through prevention of occupational injuries and occupational diseases. One way of prevention of work accident is through SMK3. The SMK3 process should begin with a good planning process to ensure that its implementation complies with the desired policies and objectives. PT PLN has implemented SMK3 which is regulated in the procedures and manuals of the company's management system. The purpose of this study was to assess and evaluate the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and also to evaluate Hazard Identification in the company. This research uses checklist method of all assessment criteria of OSH management system based on PP 50 year 2012, and for application of SMK3 in company use qualitative data through spreading of questioner to manager, supervisor and worker. Based on the result of observation, it is found that the implementation of SMK3 in the company is not fully in accordance with the PP RI number 50 of 2012 there are still 24 unfulfilled criteria that is concerning policy, plan of K3, document control, product control, work security, hazard inspection, material management, skills and abilities. This study resulted in the acquisition of the results of analysis in the achievement level of SMK3 is 92.2% and has been included in the satisfactory category so worthy to be certified and ranked the golden flag. And analysis of the implementation and implementation of SMK3 to the established principles has been above 50% and can be interpreted that SMK3 is considered important to be applied in the company.
