Perencanaan dan Perancangan Konveyor Pengantar sebagai Sarana Transportasi Barang di PT. Mitra Tani

Abstract

It has been designed a conveyor as medium of goods transportation at PT.MITRA TANI. This system consists of a series of relay as the electrical system so it can rotate the conveyor rotation direction., and also a series of motor gear box as the conveyor drive. Then the work principle of this system is to move the raw material of fertilizer, namely kieserite flour and dried fertilizer to the each storage by only pressing the left and right button. So, the goods can be saved and will directly brought by the conveyor to each stock fastly. To store the raw materials, the left button is pressed; and to store the dried fertilizer, the right button is pressed. Moreover, the production process will be streamlined in storing and goods delivering will be easy and efficient on labors productivity especially on raw materials transit department because of the conveyor tool. Therefore, the labor will not have any difficulties for carrying every single goods or raw materials to the warehouse production. Thus, by using the conveyor, the goods transportation to the production room will be constant without any pause, so there is not any delay process and the productivity can be increased well either.
