Harga Diri dan Perilaku Asertif Siswa Korban Bullying Ditinjau Dari Gender di SD Harapan 1 Medan

Abstract

This study aimed to see differences in self-esteem and assertive behavior of students bullied in terms of gender. The number of subjects used in this study were 149 students at SD Harapan 1 Medan. The hypothesis of this study, namely a). There are differences in self-esteem of students bullied in terms of gender in SD Harapan 1 Medan. b). There are differences in the behavior of the student victims of bullying assertive in terms of gender in SD Harapan 1 Medan. The results of the analysis using Analysis of Variance techniques obtained results: a). There are differences in self-esteem is very significant in terms of gender, with F = 59.565; p = 0.000. Thus, the hypothesis there is a difference in terms of gender self-esteem, are accepted. It is known that male students have higher self-esteem than female students. b). There are differences in assertive behavior is very significant in terms of gender, with F = 28.625; p = 0.000. Thus, the hypothesis there is a difference of assertive behavior in terms of gender, are accepted. From this research it is known that boys have a higher assertive behavior than girls c). It is known that self-esteem and assertive behavior of the students in SD Harapan 1 Medan in general, both boys and girls belonging to the category of being, because the average empirical value with the average value of a hypothetical dispute not exceed SD numbers.
