Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi konsumen terhadap atribut buah pepaya California dan atribut yang paling dipertimbangkan dalam pembelian buah pepaya California di Pasar Tradisional Medan Metro Trade Center (MMTC). Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden di mana semuanya merupakan konsumen yang membeli buah pepaya California di Pasar Tradisional MMTC, konsumen tersebut sudah pernah mengonsumsi buah pepaya California minimal tiga kali, dan konsumen tersebut membeli buah pepaya California untuk dikonsumsi sendiri dan tidak untuk di perdagangkan kembali. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis multivariat konjoin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi preferensi konsumen buah pepaya California di Pasar Tradisional MMTC adalah buah pepaya California yang memiliki harga Rp7.000 - Rp10.000 dengan nilai utility positif sebesar (0,197), warna kulit buah kuning sempurna (0,297), ukuran buah sedang (1-1,5 kg/buah) (0,147), dan tekstur kulit buah mulus (0,327). Sedangkan atribut buah pepaya California diurutkan dari yang paling dipertimbangkan dalam pembelian buah pepaya California di Pasar Tradisional MMTC adalah warna kulit buah dengan importance value sebesar (43,919%), tekstur kulit buah (20,045%), harga buah (18,122%), dan ukuran buah (17,913%). This research aims to determine consumer preferences for the attributes of California papaya fruit and the attributes most considered when purchasing California papaya fruit at the Medan Metro Trade Center (MMTC) Traditional Market. The sampling method uses accidental sampling technique using a questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study was 40 respondents, all of whom were consumers who bought California papaya at the MMTC Traditional Market, these consumers had consumed California papaya at least three times, and these consumers bought California papaya for their own consumption and not for trading. return. The data analysis used is conjoint multivariate analysis. The results of the research show that the consumer preference for California papaya fruit at the MMTC Traditional Market is California papaya fruit which has a price of IDR 7,000 - IDR 10,000 with a positive utility value of (0.197), perfect yellow skin color (0.297), medium fruit size. (1-1.5 kg/fruit) (0.147), and smooth fruit skin texture (0.327). Meanwhile, the attributes of California papaya fruit which are most considered in purchasing California papaya fruit at the MMTC Traditional Market are fruit skin color with an importance value of (43.919%), fruit skin texture (20.045%), fruit price (18.122%), and fruit size. (17.913%). |
