Pengaruh Fluktuasi Kurs Mata Uang terhadap Harga Saham PT Bank Central Asia Tbk di Indonesia

Abstract

Kurs memainkan peran penting dalam perdagangan di suatu negara dan adalah salah satu faktor yang bisa mempengaruhi naik turunnya harga saham. Apabila kurs menuat, maka investor cenderung akan menjual sahamnya, mengakibatkan harga akan turun, begitu juga sebaliknya. Pada tahun 2018, kurs sempat terdepresiasi dan mencapai angka yang cukup tinggi karena adanya dua negara adidaya dengan peremonomian terkuat sedang berperang. Hal ini turut berdampak terhadap harga saham perusahaan - perusahaan di Indonesia, termasuk PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk (BCA) yang merupakan bank swasta paling besar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk (1) mengetahui oengarih fluktuasi nilai tukar (kurs) terhadap harga saham pada PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk di Indonesia pada tahun 2018. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk menemukan (2) seberapa besar faktor tersebut berpengaruh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik asosiatif dan regresi linier sederhana. Sampel yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah harga kurs dan saham PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk dalam periode bulanan sepanjang tahun 2018. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dokumen yang bersumber dari situs resmi Bank Indonesia (www.bi.go.id) untuk serta situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia (www.idx.co.id) untuk harga saham. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam menunjukkan nilai signifikan (sig) sebesar XXX dengan probabilitas sebesar 0, 05. Nilai sig yang lebih kecil daro probabilitas ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh fluktuasi kurs mata uang terhadap harga saham. Oleh karena itu, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah fluktuasi kurs mata uang dapat mempengaruhi harga saham sebesar XX% The exchange rate plays an important role in trading in a country and is one of the factors that influence the ups and downs of stock prices. If the exchange rate increases, investors will tend to sell their shares so that the stock price will fall, and vice versa. In 2018, the exchange rate depreciated and reached a high enough figure because there were two superpowers with the strongest performance at war. This has an impact on the price of shares of companies in Indonesia, including PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk (BCA), which is one of the largest private bank in Indonesia. This research was conducted to (1) measure the exchange rate (exchange rate) against stock prices at PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk in Indonesia in 2018. In addition, this study was also conducted to find (2) how much these factors have an effect. The research method used was quantitative with associative techniques and simple linear regression. The sample in this study is the exchange rate and shares of PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk in the monthly period throughout 2018. Data observation techniques are carried out using document observation techniques sourced from official website of Bank Indonesia (www.bi.go.id) as well as the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co .id) for the share price. The results obtained show a significant value (sig) of XXX with a probability of 0.05. The value of this value which is smaller than this probability indicates that there is an effect of currency exchange fluctuations on stock prices. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that currency exchange rate fluctuations can affect stock prices by XX%.
