Abstract: Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui letak kesalahan human error terhadap kinerja pada mesin Rotary Packer, mengetahui akibat dari semua kesalahan terhadap kinerja operator mesin Rotary Packer dan pekerja, dan mengetahui apakah metode SHERPA dapat memperbaiki human error pada mesin dan pekerja. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian terapan dimana penelitian diarahkan kepada pengambilan tindakan yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah kecelakaan kerja yang disebabkan oleh human error yang sedang dihadapi oleh perusahaan.Variabel dependen pada penelitian adalah kurang man power, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang mesin, teknisi terkadang lalai dalam perbaikan mesin, perbaikan tidak efektif, operator terlambat hadir, operator bekerja tidak sesuai SOP, kurang teliti dalam memeriksa kondisi mesin Rotary Packer, kebersihan sekitar mesin Rotary Packer tidak dijaga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jenis Human Error yang terdapat pada unit kerja Rotary Packer adalah Kurang Man Power, Kurang nya pengetahuan tentang mesin, Teknisi terkadang lalai dalam perbaikan mesin, Perbaikan tidak efektif, Operator Kurang teliti dalam memeriksa kondisi Mesin Rotary Packer, Kebersihan sekitar mesin Rotary Packer tidak dijaga.Strategi untuk mengatasi human error yang terjadi pada unit kerja rotary packer adalah Adanya jadwal rutin preventif yang efisien pada Man Power, Melakukan pelatihan tentang penggunaan dan perbaikan mesin sesuai standard IEC, Adanya jadwal rutin preventif dalam maintanance Mesin rotary Packer, Adanya Jadwal rutin dan pemberian sanksi terhadap operator yang terlambat hadir, Lebih teliti dalam memeriksa kondisi mesin Rotary Packer, Menjaga Kebersihan sekitar mesin Rotary packer, Melakukan perbaikan mesin Rotary Packer sesuai standard IEC, Melakukan Pelatihan agar Operator bekerja sesuai dengan SOP. The purpose of the research conducted was to determine the location of human error on the performance of the Rotary Packer machine, to determine the consequences of all errors on the performance of the Rotary Packer machine operator and workers, and to determine whether the SHERPA method can improve human error on machines and workers. This research is classified as applied research where the research is directed at taking actions aimed at solving the problem of work accidents caused by human error that is being faced by the company. The dependent variables in the study were lack of manpower, lack of knowledge about the machine, technicians were sometimes negligent in repairing the machine, repairs were ineffective, operators were late in coming, operators did not work according to the SOP, were less careful in checking the condition of the Rotary Packer machine, and the cleanliness around the Rotary Packer machine was not maintained. The results of the study showed that the types of human errors found in the Rotary Packer work unit were: Lack of manpower, lack of knowledge about the machine, technicians were sometimes negligent in repairing the machine, repairs were ineffective, operators were less careful in checking the condition of the Rotary Packer machine, and cleanliness around the Rotary Packer machine was not maintained. Strategies to overcome human errors that occur in the rotary packer work unit are: Having an efficient preventive routine schedule for Man Power, Conducting training on the use and repair of machines according to IEC standards, Having a preventive routine schedule in the maintenance of the Rotary Packer machine, Having a routine schedule and giving sanctions to operators who are late in coming, Being more careful in checking the condition of the Rotary Packer machine, Maintaining cleanliness around the Rotary Packer machine, Conducting repairs to the Rotary Packer machine according to IEC standards, Conducting training so that operators work according to the SOP.
