Laporan Kerja Praktik PT. Biyu Iyas Malela PKS Tanjung Kasau

Abstract

Melalui kegiatan kerja praktek di perusahaan tersebut, mahasiswa dapat melihat secara langsung bagaimana proses produksi berlangsung, bagaimana operator bekerja, bagaimana mesin digunakan, serta kendala apa saja yangsering terjadi di lapangan. Dari situ mahasiswa bisa belajar menganalisis waktu kerja, menghitung produktivitas, serta mencari cara agar pekerjaan menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan ilmu teknik industri yang telah dipelajari. Dengan adanya kerja praktek ini, diharapkan mahasiswa tidak hanya mendapatkan pengalaman kerja, tetapi juga mampu menghubungkan teori dengan praktik, melatih tanggung jawab, disiplin, serta kemampuan bekerja sama dalam lingkungan industri. Pengalaman tersebut nantinya akan menjadi bekal yang sangat berguna ketika memasuki dunia kerja setelah menyelesaikan perkuliahan. Through the practical internship at the company, students can observe firsthand the production process, operator workflows, and machinery usage, as well as the challenges frequently encountered on the shop floor. This allows them to learn how to analyze work times, calculate productivity, and devise methods to make operations more effective and efficient by applying the industrial engineering principles they have studied. The internship aims not only to provide work experience but also to enable students to bridge the gap between theory and practice, while fostering a sense of responsibility, discipline, and the ability to collaborate within an industrial environment. Ultimately, this experience will serve as a valuable asset when they enter the workforce after completing their studies.
