Pemahaman Nilai Sosial dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa SD Ditinjau Dari Status Ketiadaan Ayah

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between fatherless status with social comprehension of elementary school students, whether there is a correlation between fatherless status with learning achievement of elementary school students, and whether there is a correlation between fatherless status with social comprehension and learning achievement of elementary school students. This study is a quantitative research that uses the methods of Multivariate Anova (Manova) analysis. The reason researcher using this method is because in this study there are two dependent variables. The number of subjects in this study are 36 people and obtain a description and characteristics of the subject by reason of not having a father, age, gender and class level. Analysis results show the F value and significant value (p value) for fatherless status to social comprehension are 0.844 and 0.365, in order to p value > 0.05, then it means that Ho1 is accepted or in other words there is no correlation between fatherless status with social comprehension of elementary school student. The F value and P value for fatherless status to learning achievement are 0.520 and 0.476, in order to p value > 0.05, then it means that Ho2 is accepted or in other words there is no correlation between fatherless status with learning achievement of elementary school student. The F value and P value for fatherless status to social comprehension and learning achievement are 0.503 and 0.609, in order to p value > 0.05, then it means that Ho1 is accepted or in other words there is no correlation between fatherless status with social comprehension and learning achievement of elementary school student. We may conclude that fatherless status has no correlation with social comprehension and learning achievement of elementary school student.
