dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan self-efficacy dengan adversity quotient pada siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 MEDAN. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI jurusan kimia analis dan kimia industri yang berjumlah 334 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala self-efficacy dan skala adversity quotient. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0.911 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,005, artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan adversity quotient siswa kelas XI, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi self-efficacysiswa maka semakin tinggi adversity quotientnya. Sebaliknya semakin rendah self-efficacy siswa maka semakin tinggi adversity quotient nya. Self-efficacy dalam penelitian ini siswa SMKN 3 Medan tergolong tinggi karena (mean empirik =86,69.> mean hipotetik = 70 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 13,669). Dan adversity quotient juga tergolong tinggi, karena (mean empirik= 88,45.> mean hipotetik = 70 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 13,316). Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut sebesar R2 = 0,829artinya self-efficacy memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap adversity quotient sebesar 82%. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai hipotesis dengan hasil penelitian di lapangan.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see the relationship of self efficacy with adversity quotient students of class XI SMKN 3 MEDAN. Subjects in this study were students of class XI majoring in chemical analyst and chemical industry 334 teeth of students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected using two scales, there are self-efficacy scale and adversity quotient scale. Data analysis used visual technique with positive and significant scoring result between self-efficacy with adversity quotient of class XI students, showing the higher self-efficacy, the higher the adversity quotient. Fulfilling the lower self efficacy of the student, the higher the adversity quotient. Self efficacy in this study SMKN 3 Medan students are high because (empirical mean = 86.69.> Hypothetical mean = 70 where the difference exceeds SD number = 13.669). And adversity quotient is high, because (empirical mean = 88.45.> Hypothetical mean = 70 where the difference exceeds SD real number = 13.316). As it is the result of R2 = 0.829, the self-efficacy has an effective effect on adversity quotient of 82%. The results of this study is in accordance with the hypothesis with the results of research in the field.en_US
