Perbaiki Tata Letak Fasilitas Pada Perkantoran Kelapa Sawit PT.Socfin Indonesia Kebun Matapao Sumatra Utara

Abstract

PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Matapao is a company engaged in the oil palm factory field. It is a manufacturing company in which the main products are crude oil and palm kernel. The area width of PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Matapao is ± 829 Ha. The problem faced by the company is the distance between the factory office and management office of ± 20 meters away, so the correspondence relationship is too far to deliver the information. Also, the distance between the production floor and laboratory of ± 81 meters, so it influences the working time and reducing productivity. Then it is needed to repair the production facilities used. This study aimed to shorten the employees’ time and to give a layout repairs proposal (Re-layout) at the factory of PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Matapao, to increase the working productivities and more organized layout so it will be more effective and efficient from the working power side used. Furthermore, the data processing used the Systematic Layout Planning and Blocplan methods.
