| Abstract: | This research is a quantitative study that aims to see the effective contribution of each factor in adolescent self-esteem is a self-assessment that reflects an attitude of acceptance or rejection and shows how far the individual believes that he is capable, important, successful, and valuable. The sample in this study were some teenagers of the psychology faculty at 2017 in Universitas of Medan Area totaling 77 people. The sampling technique use simple random sampling. Data in this study indicate psychological factors influence on self-esteem by 25%, sex factor influence self-esteem by 25%, the factor of family environmental support influences selfesteem by 26%, while the lowest effect on self-esteem in social environmental support by 24%. |
| Description: | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi efektif dari setiap faktor yang ada pada harga diri remaja. Harga diri adalah suatu penilaian terhadap diri sendiri yang mencerminkan sikap penerimaan atau penolakan dan menunjukkan seberapa jauh individu percaya bahwa dirinya mampu, penting, berhasil, dan berharga. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian remaja Fakultas Psikologi angkatan 2017 di Universitas Medan Area berjumlah 77 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui metode skala. Analisis data menggunakan analisis faktorial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor psikologis pengaruhnya terhadap harga diri sebesar 25%, faktor jenis kelamin pengaruhnya terhadap harga diri sebesar 25%, faktor dukungan lingkungan keluarga pengaruhnya terhadap harga diri sebesar 26%, sedangkan yang terendah pengaruhnya terhadap harga diri adalah dukungan lingkungan sosial yaitu sebesar 24%. |
