Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Resiliensi pada Remaja Yatim Piatu Panti Asuhan Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of social support with resilience on orphaned adolescents at Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup. Resilience is the ability to overcome the frustration and problem in life more effectively so as to arise from problems, disappoinments and traumas and be able to adapt to the problem. The hypotesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship of social support with resilience in orphaned adolescents at the Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup. This research using quantitative approach to 32 people. This study uses Likert scale to research sosial support and scale to research resilience using Guttmen scale. Analysis of this research data using Product Moment, and know from the calculation that there is a relationship between sosial support with resilience in orphaned adolescents orphaned Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup. This is know from the obtained r value of 0,730 and p=0,000 (p<0,05). Based on sosial support factor on resilience, sosial support gives effect as much 53,2% known sosial support accepted by orphaned adolescent at Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup Medan is high, because hypotetic mean (125,965) and has a diffrence over the SD number (16,353). In terms of resilience of orphaned adolescents in the orphanage Anugrah Sungai Air Hidup declared to have normal resilience, because the hypothetical mean of (14) and the mean empiric (13,968), the diffrence is not more than the number (6,967) so that the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
