Abstract

Leadership Camat can be seen from its role in fostering the device in improving work discipline in order to smooth the running of the district level government. In this case the Camat should have the ability to generate interest, willingness, and spirit of the device to achieve common goals and obtain the best possible results. Thus it becomes the duty and duty of the sub-district to run the district administration as well as possible and the obligation to foster the discipline of the work of the kecamatan apparatus in the framework of improving the work quality of the kecamatan apparatus. The improvement of this discipline will determine the smoothness of the task of the sub-district administration, therefore the head of sub-district must endeavor to improve the working discipline of the device in order to achieve the administration that is able to serve the society in particular and encourage the achievement of national goals. In this study the authors conducted research on the district office Medan Labuhan. The problem studied is the role of supervision of the subdistrict head in improving the discipline of employees in the Medan Labuhan sub-district office. To obtain data relevant to the subject matter, the method used for data collection in this study is library research, conducting observations, interviews, and questionnaire techniques. From the results of research seen the influence of the role of subdistrict in conducting supervision of the discipline of the work of the kecamatan. Therefore the authors suggest that in order to discipline the employee's work remains high, the camat should continue to increase his motivation by not only oriented to the class only, but also pay attention to good relations with subordinates and subordinates, so as to improve service to the community and create a harmonious atmosphere Among all individuals working environment Medan Labuhan district
