Motivasi Berprestasi Pada Remaja Tunadaksa

Abstract

This study is a qualitative research about motivation achievement in disabled teenagers. This research is aimed to observe what the characteristics of motivation achievement in disabled teenagers and what factors emerge the motivation achievement in disabled teenagers. Interview and observation are the techniques used. Respondents in this research are three disabled teenagers about fourteen to twenty- one years old. They are cousin, mother and friend as the research informer. Based on the research, it is known that Andi (respondent I ), Amad (respondent II ) and Fandi (respondent III ) has wonderful achievement each. The motivation achievement aspects, which the three respondents have, are reflected by those characteristics; they are responsibility, establishing the value, creativity, trying to reach future goals, having a moderate task, doing the best effort, and having anticipation. The factors which effect achievement motivation toward the three respondents are experiences in the first years of living, culture background where they grew up, modeling, learning process environment, and parents expectations of their children.
