Hubungan Antara Sense of Humor Dengan kepuasan Hidup Pada Usia Lanjut di Bandar kalippa Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan

Abstract

The research purpose to find out is the relationship between sense of humor with life satisfaction on elderly age. The subject in research is the elderly age about 55 - 65 years that as many 40 persons. The hipotesis of research are the positive relationship between sense of humor with life satisfaction in elderly age with the assumption become better sense of humor so that the life satisfaction become higher, on the contrary the sense of humor become worst so that the life satisfaction become lower. For research the data used product moment analysis, the following result: 1 ). There are the relationship between sense of humor with life satisfaction on elderly age which showed correlation coefficient as big as rxy = 0,895. 2). Contribution sense of humor to be life satisfaction as big as 80, 1 %. 3). Be based on the result of research analysis, sense of humor on elderly age in Bandar Klippa, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict good classified that showed with the level value mean hipotetic 40 <mean empiric 47,0750. While the life satisfaction on elderly age in Bandar Klippa, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict high classified that showed with level value mean hipotetic 82,5 < mean empiric 96,9750.
