Penerapan Lean Manufacturing untuk Meminimasi Pemborosan pada Bahan Baku Kerangka Sofa di UD. Sofa Bandar Tinggi

Abstract

UD. Sofa Bandar Tinggi adalah UMKM dibidang manufaktur dengan hasil produksi sofa. Dalam memproduksi sofa pada proses produksi masih terdapat pemborosan. Pemborosan yang terjadi pada setahun terakhir yaitu seperti, produksi berlebih (over production) sebanyuk 17 set, persediaan berlebih (unnecessary inventory) sebanyak 17 set. (defect) sebanyak 22 set dan waktu menunggu (waiting) sebesar 45 menit . Oleh karena itu. perlu diidentifikasi pemborosan dan menganalisa penyebab pemborosan tersebut untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dengan menerapkan lean manufacturing pada proses produksi sofa menggunakan value stream mapping untuk mengetahui aliran produk dan aliran informasi yang mendukung aktivitas lain dan juga tmtuk menghilangkan pemborosan serta mencari penyebab terjadinya pemborosan tersebt dengan fishbone diagram. Berdasarkun hasil current value stream mapping mengetahui lead time 109,63 mcnit, value added 94.21 menit. Setelah dilakukan process activity mapping didapatkan hasil current stream mapping future .iumlah lead time menurun menjadi 98,26 menit. Dan juga penjabaran suatu masalah dari fishbone diagram tersebut yaitu faktor man (pekerja kurang disiplin, rendahnya skill pekerja). measurement (pemotongan kayu yang berulang), method (polongan kayu tidak rata), material (ketebalan kayu tidak sesuai). Adapun rekomendasi perbaikan untuk meminimasi pemborosan berupa Standard Operation Procedure dan menerapkan 5S. UD Sofa Bandar Tinggi is nn MSMB in the manufacturing sector with sofa production. In producing sofas, there is still wastage. Wastage in the past year was, for example, overproduction or 17 sets, unnccessnry inventory of 17, defect of22, and waiting time of 4S minutes. Therefore, it is necessary to identify waste and analyze the causes or wastage to incfe4SC productivity by implementing lean manufacturing in the sofa production process using value stream mapping to determine product now and information now that supporlS other activities and to eliminate and find the causes or waste using a fishbonc dia1,'Tllm. Based on the current value stream mapping results, the lead time was 109.63 minutes, and the value added was 94.21 minutes. Aller conducting the process activity mopping, the current stream mapping future state results showed that the lead time decreased to 98.26 minutes. Also, the explanation of a problem from the fishbonc diagram, namely the man factor (workers lacking discipline, low worker skills), measurement (repented cutting of wood), method (uneven woodcuts), and material (inappropriate wood thickness). The recommendations for improvement to mioimiz.c wastage were in tile form or Standard Operation Procedures and implementing 5S.
