Abstract: Antrian merupakan suatu bentuk kejadian yang menggambarkan kondisi dimana sekelompok orang berkumpul untuk mendapatkan giliran sebuah pelayanan. Kondisi antrian di loket pengambilan obat RSUD Dr Pirngadi Medan sangat padat sehingga mengakibatkan antrian yang sangat panjang dan lama. Proses antrian dimulai pada saat pasien datang, mengambil nomor antrian, menunggu dalam antrian, dilayani dan akhirnya meninggalkan fasilitas pelayanan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui kinerja sistem antrian, mulai dari model antrian yang diterapkan, lama waktu tunggu pasien, dan sistem antrian dari pelayanan pasien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model antrian (M/M/1) dengan 1 fasilitas pelayanan dan 1 tahap pelayanan yang harus dilalui oleh pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu kedatangan berdistribusi poisson dan waktu pelayanan berdistribusi eksponensial serta dengan disiplin antrian pasien yang pertama kali datang akan dilayani terlebih dahulu. Sistem antrian yang diterapkan tersebut belum efektif sehingga menyebabkan kondisi steady state tidak terpenuhi maka perlu dilakukan penambahan 1 fasilitas pelayanan agar proses pelayanan dapat efektif. A queue is a form of event that describes a condition where a group of people gather to take their turn at a service. The queuing conditions at the medicine collection counter at Dr Pirngadi Regional Hospital, Medan, were very congested, resulting in very long and long queues. The queuing process begins when the patient arrives, takes a queue number, waits in the queue, is served and finally leaves the service facility. The aim of this research is to find out the performance of the queuing system, starting from the queuing model applied, the length of patient waiting time, and the queuing system for patient services. The method used in this research is a queue model (M/M/1) with 1 service facility and 1 service stage that the patient must go through. The research results show that the arrival time has a Poisson distribution and the service time has an exponential distribution and with queue discipline the patient who arrives first will be served first. The queuing system implemented is not yet effective, causing steady state conditions to not be met, so it is necessary to add 1 service facility so that the service process can be effective.
