Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Menggunakan Metode Just In Time pada UD. Usaha Maju

Abstract

UD. Usaha Maju merupakan industri yang bergerak dibidang produksi dan pemasaran tempe yang bebahan dasar kacang kedelai dan ragi. Namun dalam roses produksi tempe terdapat masalah dalam penentuan jumlah bahan baku, dimana belum adanya pengendalian pesediaan bahan baku yang tepat yang digunakan oleh UD.Usaha Maju ini karena disebabkan oleh tidak adanya kejelasan tentang jumlah kebutuhan bahan baku perbulannya sehingga mengakibatkan tidak tepatnya jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang akan di stok dan menyebabkan kerugian biaya karena jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang datang melebihi kebutuhan bahan baku perbulannya. Tujuan dari peneitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku pada UD. Usaha Maju dengan metode Just In Time, Untuk mengetahui perbandingan biaya berdasarkan kebijakan UD. Usaha Maju dan dengan metode Just In Time. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada UD. Usaha Maju yang berhubungan dengan jumlah produksi, jumlah bahan baku, jumlah permintaan dan biaya pembelian bahan baku yang meliputi biaya pemesanan dana biaya pembelian yang diperlukan. Dan proses pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Just In Time untuk mengetahui jumlah persediaan bahan baku dan produksi yang tepat. Dengan metode Just In Time biaya persediaan bahan baku lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan kebijakan UD. Usaha Maju dengan perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku pada UD. Usaha Maju dengan metode Just In Time dapat menghemat biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 31.997.869 atau 12,54%. UD. Usaha Maju is an industry that operates in the production and marketing of tempeh which is made from soybeans and yeast. However, in the tempeh production process there are problems in determining the amount of raw materials, where there is no proper control of the supply of raw materials used by UD.Usaha Maju, this is due to the lack of clarity regarding the amount of raw materials needed per month, resulting in inaccurate amounts of raw material supplies. which will be in stock and cause cost losses because the amount of raw material inventory that arrives exceeds the monthly raw material requirements. The aim of this research is to determine the planning and control of raw material inventory at UD. Advanced Business using the Just In Time method, to find out the comparison of costs based on UD policy. Advanced Business and with the Just In Time method. Data collection was carried out at UD. Advanced Business which is related to the amount of production, the amount of raw materials, the amount of demand and the cost of purchasing raw materials which includes ordering costs and the required purchasing costs. And the data processing process is carried out using the Just In Time method to determine the correct amount of raw material inventory and production. With the Just In Time method, raw material inventory costs are more effective compared to UD's policy. Advanced Business by planning and controlling raw material inventory at UD. Usaha Maju using the Just In Time method can save inventory costs of IDR 31,997,869 or 12.54%.
