Analisis Penerapan Metode 5s Terhadap Efisiensi Waktu Kerja pada Proses Pembuatan Pintu Lipat di Workshop Eka Las

Abstract

Workshop Eka las di merupakan Workshop yang membuat canopy, jerjak jendela, pintu besi, ayunan dan pintu lipat dengan 5 pekerja. Proses pembuatan pintu lipat di Workshop Eka Las memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama, mulai dari memotong, membentuk, mengebor, hingga merakit. Permasalahan lain yaitu penempatan tempat produksi yang kurang efektif pada penyimpanan alat dan bahan produksi dengan tempat untuk menaruh alat produksi jaraknya yang lumayan jauh, hal tersebut memakan waktu yang sangat banyak sehingga waktu baku produksi yang besar dengan jumlah produksi yang minimum. Selain itu lingkungan kerja yang efektif meliputi kenyamanan dan keamanan juga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja operator. Waktu yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan satu pintu lipat dapat mempengaruhi kualitas dan waktu pengiriman produk. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu kerja di Workshop Eka Las adalah dengan menerapkan metode 5S. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan Waktu baku awal pembuatan pintu lipat di Workshop Eka Las membutuhkan waktu 26,25 jam. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dengan metode 5S efeisiensi waktu waku pembuatan pintu lipat di workshop Eka Las mengalami penurunan menjadi 25,25 jam persentase penurunan waktu baku setelah implementasi 5S adalah sekitar 2,36%. Untuk meningkatkan evisiensi dilakukan dengan cara menerapakan metode 5S dintaranya penambahan kontainer atau box untuk alat produksi, menyusun besi yang akan dipotong sesuai dengan ukuran dan merapikan alat alatyang digunakan saat proses produksi, memberikan jadwal pembersihan tempat produksi dan memberi control visual untuk pengingat operator. The Eka Las Workshop is a workshop that makes canopies, window railings, iron doors, swings and folding doors with 5 workers. The process of making folding doors at the Eka Las Workshop takes quite a long time, starting from cutting, forming, drilling, to assembling. Another problem is that the placement of the production site is less effective in storing production tools and materials with the place to store the production tools being quite far away, this takes a lot of time so that the standard production time is large with minimum production quantities. Apart from that, an effective work environment including comfort and safety also influences operator performance. The time it takes to complete one folding door can affect the quality and delivery time of the product. One way to increase working time efficiency at the Eka Las Workshop is to apply the 5S method. From the research results, it was found that the initial standard time for making folding doors at the Eka Las Workshop took 26.25 hours. After improvements were made using the 5S method, the time efficiency for making folding doors at the Eka Las workshop decreased to 25.25 hours, the percentage reduction in standard time after implementing 5S was around 2.36%. To increase efficiency, this is done by applying the 5S method, including adding containers or boxes for production equipment, arranging the iron to be cut according to size and tidying up the tools used during the production process, providing a schedule for cleaning the production site and providing visual controls for operator reminders.
