This study aims to analyze and optimize inventory control of Gypsum Powder in a Gypsum Profile manufacturing company. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing the Just-In-Time (JIT) method, a system aimed at optimizing raw material inventory and timely delivery. In this way, the company can minimize storage and ordering costs. Raw material requirements for 2025 were forecasted using the Exponential Something method with α=0.5, resulting in a total demand of 39,082 kilograms. Using the EOQ method, raw material requirements are 2,616 kg per order, with a frequency of 14 orders. Meanwhile, applying the JIT method to raw material requirements is 5,024 kg, with a frequency of 8 orders. These results indicate that the JIT method is more efficient because it can reduce storage costs and ordering costs, so the total cost difference is Rp. 2,314,164. Therefore, by using the Just In Time method, the company can carry out planning and control of raw material inventory more effectively and efficiently. |
