The company requires support from healthy and productive workers with a safe, comfortable, and harmonious work environment. Workers need to be protected in terms of safety and health because each worker is a valuable asset to a company. The working conditions at PT. Sinar Utama Nusantara have potential hazards that pose risks to workers, as evidenced by the workplace accident data available at the company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the types of work accidents and potential hazards that occur in the production division, as well as to understand the efforts to control work accidents in the production division to achieve zero accidents. The method used in this research is the HAZOPS (Hazard Operability Study) method. From the data processing results, it was found that the sources of hazards in the production division are mostly due to human error, such as spilled or scattered raw materials on the floor causing slippery floors, improper placement of raw materials and materials, and worker attitudes. This leads to work risks such as slipping, being hit by raw materials or materials, eye irritation due to dust, falling, and others. The solution provided to achieve zero accidents is by implementing health and safety management, improving facilities, providing motivation and work training, as well as monitoring and reporting. |
