Gejala PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) pada Wanita Korban Perkosaan

Abstract

Generally woman victim of rape does not want to tell to anyone that she had ever experienced in raping. They regard it is private problem that no need to be told to anyone including her parents because afraid. This research is purposed to know the symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that happened by woman victim of rape. Rape is an effort to release the sexual appetite by man to woman. This research will be found about kind of rape, the rape effect, the symptom of PTSD and the emotional reaction that happened of the woman victim rape. The methodology is by qualitative approach. The characteristic in this research is a woman about 22 years old, a student that undergone rape, had some symptom of PTSD and emotional reaction caused PTSD. The method of collecting data that used is deep interview technique with general guidance and behavior observation during interview taking place. The research result summarized that respondent ever had undergone rape that done by a man. Before raped, respondent was given a barbiturate by the subject. The occur caused the psychologist, physically and socially effects to the respondent, besides deep traumatic so that respondent felt the symptoms of PTSD as always remember that happen at many times and nightmare. In another case respondent sometimes avoid something that any relation with rape. The things reveal the emotional reactions caused the PTSD's symptoms
